The 2024 season of the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Canada (PECCC) and the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Canada (PESCC) was a thrilling journey, culminating in a nail-biting finale at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. This season marked the fifth edition of the championship, hosted on iRacing, featuring 46 drivers competing in digital versions of the iconic 911 GT3 Cup car and the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

In recent years, Porsche Cars Canada has placed an emphasis on the growing importance of virtual racing within Porsche's motorsport activities. As a result, Porsche Centres across Canada were well represented, with one driver per series and a reserve driver on each team.

Congratulations to Porsche Centre Rive-Sud driver Andrew Caron on winning the championship in the 911 GT3 Cup car category; and Porsche Centre Lauzon driver Charles-Étienne Boucher on taking home the win in the 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport category.

Andrew Caron, the new PECCC champion, has earned a coveted opportunity to enhance his driving skills at the Porsche Track Experience program, showcasing the seamless transition from virtual racing to real-life track performance.

The Constructor’s Championship victory went to Porsche Centre Lauzon, establishing them as the top Porsche Centre Esports team in Canada.

The season, starting in March, saw top drivers from across the country go through a rigorous selection and qualification process before competing in eight intense races.

We at Porsche Centre Saskatchewan are especially proud of our drivers Rory Windrow, Tristen Hurl, and Michel Martel. Their dedication and performance, both on and off the track, were exemplary. We extend our heartfelt thanks for representing us with such passion and skill throughout the season. Here’s to another fantastic year of virtual racing!
