Porsche Unveils Thrilling 2024 Esports Racing Series

Porsche Centre Saskatchewan is gearing up for an electrifying year in the digital racing arena with the announcement of its fifth edition of the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Canada (PESCC) and the brand-new Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Canada (PECCC) for 2024. This year, the PECCC introduces a higher level of competition, allowing virtual racers to climb the Porsche Motorsport ladder from the Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport in the PESCC to the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car in the PECCC on the iRacing.com platform.
Qualifying runs from February 12-24, 2024, with eight races kicking off in March. As the season unfolds, Canadian Porsche Centres will be represented by teams of two drivers, competing not only for the Drivers’ Championship but also vying for the Constructor’s Championship title on behalf of their Porsche Centre.
Partnering with notable brands such as TAG Heuer, Bose, and LEGO, the series promises exciting prizes. The PECCC champion and the winner of the “Smooth Operator Award” will receive a TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition watch. Bose, with its branding on virtual race cars, offers premium QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds to top-three finishers. LEGO joins the series with the “LEGO Play Well Award” for the sim racer with the most positions gained each race.

The season concludes with a chance for the Drivers’ Championship winner to extend their skills in a real-life Porsche Track Experience program. With the lineup of races set to kick off in March, the 2024 Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Canada and Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Canada promise an immersive and thrilling experience for both participants and spectators alike.

May 9: Race #7: Road Atlanta, 6 PM CST
May 16: Race #8: Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, 6 PM CST Both series race within the same broadcast.
